Product Quality Policy

Hop and Grain will not ship expired products unless special arrangements and permissions are made by the purchaser. Pellet hops are best when used within 24 months from date of manufacture. Whole hops are best when used within 6-12 months from date of manufacture. Milled malts are best when used within 6 months from date of manufacture. Whole kernel roasted malts best when used within 18 months from date of manufacture. DME and LME best when used within 24 months from date of manufacture. Most additives are best when used within 12-24 months from date of manufacture. Liquid yeast packs are best when used within 6 months from date of manufacture. Dry yeast packs are best when used within 24 months from date of manufacture. Yeast can be revived with yeast starters and yeast nutrients if past date of manufacture.

We may use the information we collect to periodically notify you about new services or special offers we think you'll find valuable. Hop and Grain does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.

Payment and Security Policy

We accept all major credit cards and Paypal. Website is protected, verified, and secured by GoDaddy Deluxe Security Encryption Protocols and SSL. To view Certificate, click on lock in browsers address bar.

Return Policy

It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to ship and pay for items that are being returned. Shipping fees will be forfeit on any items that can not be delivered due to an invalid shipping address that a customer provided. Items must be returned within 3 days of delivery. Items may only be returned for store credit. Sorry no refunds will be issued. Used items are sold as is and can not be returned for store credit. All items must be returned in their original packaging with all parts in new condition. Items that were taken out of the box or have been used are not eligible for store credit and must be replaced under the manufactures warranty.

Ingredients may not be returned. These items can not be restocked due to the sensitive nature of the items. Store credit will be dealt with on a case by case basis. Please contact us with specific details of the issue and or concern. We may ask for photographs and or other evidence to determine store credit.

Shipping Method Policy

All items are shipped USPS and or UPS unless otherwise indicated in the order. Items are usually received 2-10 business days after order has been paid in full. Sorry we do not ship Internationally. 

Additional charges may apply on orders considered wholesale, bulk, or promotional item purchases. The purchaser will be contacted if additional shipping charges apply. No credit card will be charged until all shipping costs are verified.

Sales / Use Tax Policy

It is the responsibility of the purchaser, not the seller, to report and obey all applicable local, state, federal, and international sales and use tax laws. Hop and Grain is required under state law to collect a 6% sales tax from all Pennsylvania residents that make a purchase on applicable items.

Liability Policy

It is the responsibility of the purchaser, not the seller, to ascertain and obey all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws in regard to the possession, use, and sale of any item purchased from Hop and Grain. Hop and Grain is not liable for the possession, use, and sale of any items purchased from Hop and Grain. Hop and Grain is not liable for any bodily injury caused by any items purchased from Hop and Grain, including but not limited to manufacture defect, improper installations, improper use, etc. The Purchaser must be the age of 21 to purchase any items sold by Hop and Grain and that are governed by local, state, federal, and international laws. By placing an order with Hop and Grain, the purchaser is agreeing to the terms and verifying that they are abiding buy all local, state, federal, and international laws.

Warranty Policy

New items carry a factory warranty by the manufacturer. Any manufacturer defects are the sole responsibility of the manufacturer. Hop and Grain is not liable for manufacturer defects, performance, or condition of the manufacturers product. However, Hop and Grain will assist in any way possible to resolve issues with products.
